Privacy Policy

1. The jacket and the apps: we receive nothing

The jacket records on your iPhone. The recordings move to your Mac over a direct device-to-device link, confirmed by a six-digit comparison on the two screens. They do not touch a network, a server, or us. The Mac does the transcription and speaker separation and keeps the library: recordings, transcripts linked to the people who said them, and voice embeddings, the numeric signatures the app uses to recognise a voice again. The phone releases its copy only after the Mac has verified it holds the same bytes, so there is never a third copy.

None of that is sent to Isper or to anyone else. There is no account it is tied to and no server that receives it. We cannot access it, retrieve it, or be compelled to produce it, because we do not have it.

Voice embeddings are biometric information. They exist only on your Mac. We never receive them. That is not a policy choice we could quietly reverse; it is how the apps are built, and you can check it: neither app has a login, and neither makes a network request other than the two below.

• Model downloads. When an app needs a speech or language model it does not have, it downloads the file. That request carries your IP address and the app version, and no account, device identifier, or content.
• App updates.Delivered by Apple through the App Store or TestFlight, under Apple's privacy policy.

2. This website

• No analytics. There is no analytics or advertising script on this site, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
• Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for a short period for operations and abuse prevention.
• Fonts. The typeface is served by Adobe Fonts. Your browser requests it from Adobe, which sees your IP address and counts the request.
• Bot check. If a small verification appears on the reservation form, it is Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs in its own frame to tell people from scripts, under Cloudflare's policy.

3. Reserving a Founder Edition

When you reserve, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a San Francisco delivery address, and we record the IP address and browser type of the request. Before your jacket is built we ask for your size. We use these to confirm you are in San Francisco, to build your jacket, to bring it to you and email or call you about your session, and to hold reservations to one per person. We do not use them for marketing.

This data is stored in a Supabase database in the United States, encrypted at rest, and reachable only by the site's server and by us. Nothing in the browser can read it. We keep it until 7 days after your reservation is cancelled or released, or 90 days after the Founder Edition batch is delivered, whichever comes first. After delivery we keep your name, email, and delivery date for the 12-month warranty period, then delete them.

Payment happens in person. We never see or store a card number. If you pay by card, the card reader's provider processes the payment under its own terms.

4. The waitlist

If the edition is sold out or every session time is taken, you can leave an email address. We record the email, which form it came from, and the IP address of the request. We use it for one thing: to tell you if a unit opens up. We delete the list when the batch is fully delivered, or after 12 months, whichever comes first.

5. How we contact you

Email comes from lucas@isper.ai, a mailbox hosted by Google Workspace. A call or text about your session comes from the founder's own phone; we do not use an SMS service or a mailing list provider. No newsletters.

6. Who else touches your data

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising. The companies below process it only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel: hosts the website and runs the reservation server. Request logs.
• Supabase: the database holding reservation and waitlist data.
• Google Workspace: email.
• Adobe Fonts: typefaces on the website.
• Cloudflare: the bot check on the reservation form, when shown.
• Apple: distributes the app and its updates.

None of them receives anything the jacket records, because nothing the jacket records leaves your phone.

7. Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email lucas@isper.ai from the address on your reservation, or tell us your reservation reference. We answer within 30 days and do not treat you differently for asking.

Deleting a reservation before your session cancels it. Data the jacket recorded is on your Mac and your phone, so deletion there is yours to do: delete a person or a conversation inside the Mac app, or delete the library and the apps.

8. California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The categories we collect are: identifiers (name, email, phone number, IP address), commercial information (your reservation, size, and delivery date), and internet activity (server request logs). The sources are you and your browser. The purposes are those in sections 2 to 5.

Voice data is sensitive personal information under the CPRA. The Isper apps process it entirely on your own devices, and Isper does not collect it, receive it, or hold it. There is therefore nothing for us to limit, disclose, or delete on that front; control of it sits with you, on your iPhone and your Mac.

We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months and do not do so, so there is no opt-out to offer. To exercise any right, email the address above. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf if you give them written permission and we can verify it with you.

9. Adults only

The website and the Founder Edition are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

When this policy changes, the new version goes here with the date at the top. If a change affects people with an active reservation, we email them before it takes effect.
