The six-microphone array and its mounts, from prototype to 100 handbuilt units.
What you will do
- Design and iterate the array: microphones, geometry, cabling, the wired connection to the iPhone.
- Build the mounts with the clothing team: the necklace and the garment.
- Set up hand assembly for the first 100 units, then whatever comes after.
- Test on bodies moving through real rooms, not on a bench.
What we look for
- You have built electronics that survive daily wear.
- You solder, and you also think in array geometry.
- You would rather test on a real day than on a spec sheet.
